Prefix DIS-
DIS- means 'not' or 'the opposite of'. 'Disagree' means 'not agree'.
How this rule works
The prefix dis- reverses or negates a word. 'Agree' → 'disagree' (not agree); 'appear' → 'disappear' (stop appearing).
Remember: DIS- undoes it — disagree, dishonest, disappear!
