Suffix -ED (/d/ sound)
After voiced sounds like /b/, /g/, /n/, -ED says /d/, like in 'played' and 'named'.
How this rule works
After voiced consonants and vowels, -ed says /d/. The E is silent.
Remember: After a buzzy sound, -ED says /d/!
